Our Story

The Ladies Plastics Golf Organization was organized in 2000 with two missions in mind: to provide an avenue for the many ladies in the plastics industry to network with colleagues while enjoying golf and secondly, and more importantly, to support Breast Cancer Awareness by way of sponsoring an Annual Charity Golf Tournament.

 

With your involvement once again, this year’s proceeds will benefit the Breast Health Fund Program at the Robert and Beverly Lewis Family Care Center at the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in the Los Angeles and Inland Empire counties.

 

Through the generous support of our sponsors, players, volunteers and guests we are proud to say that LPGO has raised over $500,000 since the inception of this annual event and in 2018 added $35,000 to the grand total. Your participation has made a significant difference in the lives of so many women and men who have been touched by breast cancer, such as:

 

   •Emergency biopsies for patients in need and/or uninsured

   •Free wigs for patients who lose their hair during treatment

   •Education and support programs for patients, family and           children

   •Physical therapy and exercise classes 

   •Transportation to and from Cancer Center for patients in           treatment

   •Sleeves for patients suffering from lymphodema and      

    prosthesis bras

 

LPGO is recognized as a Non-Profit 501 (C) (3) organization.  Tax ID No: 57-1169947. Because of your generosity LPGO has donated over $500,000.00 to date to assist in helping to improve the quality of life of Breast Cancer Patients.
